Arts Ambassadors support our Outreach and Educational initiatives that build community, develop local talent, and instill a love and curiosity for opera in Jacksonville’s youth. 

Your donation allows us to bring free-to-the-public performances to all areas and demographics of our beautiful city. It also allows us to mentor the next generation of Jacksonville-based singers through free workshops, such as our annual Singers Forum.

Future hopes include bringing performances of children's operas to Duval County schools, further expanding our Educational division.

Friends of BCO help us provide reasonable artist fees for performers participating in our Outreach events, thereby creating more opportunities for local classical singers honing their craft.

Our Outreach events give opportunities to local college students studying voice performance, avocational classical singers, emerging artists and seasoned professionals in our community.

Impresarios allow us to pay industry-standard wages to our Mainstage artists and crew. Casting and hiring priority is always given to local talent, with an emphasis on providing opportunities to skilled emerging artists.
